"Beyond the ticket queues, the fountains are speaking in Arabic. Not metaphorically — the channels and pools of the Alhambra were designed so that water would create specific acoustic effects, a kind of hydraulic music..."

Tour 1
The Red Fortress
This tour moves through the Nasrid Palaces not as a tourist but as a reader — tracing the calligraphy on the walls, the geometry of the ceilings, the logic of the water gardens. One of the most extraordinary buildings on earth, understood properly for the first time.
Tour 2
The Cave Quarter
This tour walks through the cave dwellings of the Romani families who created flamenco — up through the ravine where Lorca came to listen, and out onto the ridge with its unforgettable view of the Alhambra across the gorge. The most misunderstood neighbourhood in Granada, finally understood.
Tour 3
The Old Moorish City
This tour navigates Granada's oldest quarter — a UNESCO-listed maze of narrow lanes whose street plan has not changed since the eleventh century. The mosques became churches, the population was expelled, its language was banned. But the street layout remains. The carmens still turn their backs on the world the way Islamic domestic architecture always did, the water channels still running on Nasrid engineering, and the view across to the palace the neighbourhood was always watching.
Tour 4
Three Faiths, One City
This tour follows the story of three faiths in one city — the Jewish grand vizier who helped build Granada, the Muslim engineers who made it extraordinary, and the Christian conquest that tried to erase both. A walk through the silk market, the philosopher's city and the neighbourhood that outlasted everything done to it. Seven centuries of coexistence, and the summer it ended.
Tour 5
The Poet and the City
This tour follows Lorca's Granada — the garden where he wrote, the caves where he listened, the café where he played piano, and the road north where the car took him on the last night of his life. The most moving walk in the city.
Tour 6
How Granada eats, drinks and spends its evenings
Granada is one of the last cities in Spain where every drink comes with a free tapa — and knowing where to go, what to order and how the evening unfolds is an art in itself. This is a guide to the city's bar culture: the old taverns, the hidden patios, the bars that locals actually use, and the particular rhythm of a Granada night. Use it over one evening or return to it across several days.

The Creator
Spencer Style has lived in Sacromonte for over a decade — at the heart of Granada's flamenco community.
Hidden Granada draws on that time and years of walking the city, speaking to historians, flamenco artists, archaeologists and locals, and piecing together the routes and stories most visitors never find on their own.
The result is a collection of audio tours, maps, film, photography and writing — Granada from the inside.
What People Say
I've been visiting Granada for twenty years. This collection made me feel like I was seeing it for the first time. The Sacromonte audio tour alone is worth the entire price — I stood in the ravine listening to the flamenco sound design with tears running down my face.
We offer the Hidden Granada Collection to every guest at check-in. It has transformed the quality of our guests' experience — they come back from their days animated, having found things they would never have found alone. Invaluable.
The Lorca tour is one of the most moving things I have experienced as a traveller. The combination of the prose, the sound design and walking the actual streets where he lived — nothing else comes close.
Hidden Granada gave us the city we were hoping to find but couldn't on our own. The Albaicín tour alone changed the whole trip — we spent three hours in streets we would never have found.
We gift this to every guest as part of their welcome pack. It's become part of what makes staying with us different. Guests mention it in their reviews more than almost anything else we offer.
